Second last meeting of the 2024 season, and all classes came out to play. The strain on the cars is beginning to tell, but that didn't stop everyone from having fun. Won't be at the next meeting (clashes with Taipans), so this is my final one for 2024 - but as usual, I'll be busy behind the scenes.
Great to see so many F500s and Junior Sedans competing, with a good field of Super Street Sedans to back them up while the LS Sprintcars turned it on too. Sequence of photos of Andrew Sues looks pretty horrific, but he walked away from it without a scratch (except to his bank account).
The F500s final could also have had a real nasty one with Dylan Hedger's car coming to an instant stop with what appeared to be a rear end failure, and in the split seconds before the Stewards could get the yellow lights on, two cars arrived on the scene at full speed. One went left, one went right, no-one touched anyone else. Brilliant driving, guys!
