Third night of Thunder in the Canefields for the 360-LS Sprintcars, and the weather was playing games with us. Was it going to rain? Depending on what time you checked, it was "Yes / No / Maybe / A little".
But we got the job done - by later in the meeting we were watering the track!
Junior Sedans showed that the skills course run for them the previous Sunday had definitely paid off. Good, close racing, wheel to wheel, a little bit of rubbing here and there - unintentional, the track was slippery at times - and just put on a darn good show.
Super Street Sedans was fun, with good racing throughout the night.
Then the 3rd round of Thunder... Again, a good evening for the big things with wings, competitive throughout the night. Unfortunately two cars badly damaged, but drivers okay and that's what counts.
On to the grand finale - Saturday, where it all comes together and the chocolates are up for grabs!
