CQUni Cairns Taipans v Sydney Kings 28/10/23

Seems like forever that we've had a game at home, following away games, a trip to the US and Canada, then another away game in Wollongong. But we're back - and in style, too!

The Team showed what the game meant to them by working hard all the way through the full 40 minutes. Even when we sort of ran out of Point Guards following Patrick's hard crash to the floor just before half time, with Taran not cleared to play.

It looked like every player on the floor took over the role of PG at some stage, and kept the reigning champions out of the game. The Kings did snatch the lead, holding it for 3:09, while the Taipans held it for 36:48. Not bad...

Next home game is November 11th against the Hawks - you can be sure we will be trying to avenge our one-point loss to them in Wollongong!
