And... there goes Season NBL22, not with a whimper but with a bang. Taipans set the highest team score of the season with 112, and Tahjere McCall finished off with the equal second-highest score by a Taipan - 42. Beaten only by Martin Cattalini (51 points v Brisbane in 2006, but in a 48 minute game, however) and equalling Melo Trimble's effort against Melbourne United.

The final score was 112 - 98 with Tahjere (also 10 assists and 5 steals) backed up by 30 points from Majok and 17 from Keanu. One of Tahjere's dunks was one of the best in a while, as you will see through the pics.

Great auction of the game singlets afterwards for charity - a big thanks to all those who made a purchase. And a big queue for team signatures.

Now for NBL1 and the rumour mill can start for #NBL23...
