Super Street Sedan QLD Title - 14 October 2023

For the final event of 2023 we had our second attempt at staging the Super Street Sedan Qld Title, following the rainout earlier in the season. Had to swap dates with Mareeba and all sorts of stuff to get it done, but we got there.

Somewhat smaller fields, as is usual at this time of year. The cars are getting tired, and I suspect so are some of the drivers - the volunteers are ready to have a break, that's for sure!

So it came down to a 40 lap feature event that finished about 90 seconds before curfew, and Dan Pitchfork is the new Q1 for Super Street Sedans. In little "Gizmo" - "The Mouse That Roared" - Dan lapped all but one car on his way to the chequered flag and the top spot on the podium. Got big plans for next season, too!

Apart from our annual dinner, that's us for the year - the next event on the calendar is the 2024 season opening event on 18 May 2024. See you there!
