Northern Nationals Night 2 - 23 September 2023

A meeting we had to rush a little, as we were expecting rain and, sure enough, we got it. Just before the feature race - The Hambledon Hotel Northern Nationals for the Modified Sedan class. Got the race run and won, and it started raining again. How's that for timing?

The big win of the night went to local favorite Johnno Collins after Adam Jorgensen blew a hydraulic hose which caused the car to overheat badly, having taken the lead from Johnno on a restart.

Track was in good nick, with new lap records being set for Junior Sedans (Livi Jorgensen) and Formula 500s (Tessa Underwood). It seems unreal sometimes that there is rain all around us and we have to water the track between races because it's too dry!
