Northern Nationals Night 1 - 22 September 2023

Perfect weather - for once. The Hambledon Hotel Northern Nationals for the Modified Sedan class tops the billing over these two nights, and Friday night turned on some good racing, albeit with small fields in some of the classes. That didn't seem to matter to the competitors, they were still getting stuck into it.

The Jorgensen kids racing wheel to wheel for a full heat race, Dan Pitchfork in "The Mouse That Roared" was far and away the class of the Super Streets until a CV joint decided it didn't want to play any more, there were wheels coming off everywhere for some obscure reason, the Modifieds were really arguing over the big prize pot that's up for grabs tomorrow night - all in all, quite a bit of fun.
