Speedway Round 4 - 12 August 2023

Again, the weather was playing with us. Rained on and off for the two weeks prior to the meeting, and only settled down on Friday. Which didn't help much with track preparation, unfortunately.

Livi Jorgensen took out the North Queensland Junior Sedan Title with an impeccable drive - while it was a small field every one of those kids was trying their hardest.

The first picture? That's part of what the inside of a Pro Sprintcar engine looks like when it decides to step outside for a breath of fresh air... 

We're back in two weeks (26/8) to do it again, this time featuring the Queensland Super Street Championship. Judging by the way they were driving tonight (three wide in the corners!) it's going to be a meeting not to be missed!
