Cairns Dolphins & Marlins v Rockhampton 09/06/24
9/6/24A 50 / 50 split - the Marlins got it done against the Rockets, but the Dolphins fell to the Cyclones in what was an entertaining game, except that we lost.
The Marlins were pretty much in control of the game for all except about two and a half minutes, leading by as much as 28 until the Rockets fought back hard in Q4. The Stattmann brothers put up a combined 59 points, 21 rebounds and 4 steals.
Don't have the full figures for the Dolphins, but Mia Lloyd and Andreanna Francis combined for 53 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists.
On to the next game - Saturday 15th, but I will be (on current indications, anyway) freezing at the Speedway!
