Cairns Dolphins & Marlins v SC Phoenix 10/06/23

Another two wins in the bag after (barely) taking care of business  - but hey, you only need to win by 1 point, and both teams did better than that!

First up the Dolphins had a tight game, making a run in Q4 to finish the game 101 - 93, led by strong performances from Leichan (26 points and 11 rebounds), Taylor with 26 points, Jennifer with 16 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists, and Shaneice with 18 points and 12 rebounds. 13 lead changes and the biggest lead was 10.

Then on to the Marlins, and this one was a real squeaker - final score 86 - 82. 24 lead changes and tied 9 times... Jonah topped the billing with 29 points and 6 rebounds, Ky with 17 points, Tad with 13 points and 10 assists. Good tight game, lots of defence kept the score (relatively) low. Phoenix won Q1 and Q3, Marlins won Q2 and Q4.
