The Dolphins never looked troubled in their clash with the Pirates, running out winners by 26 points on the back of a big night from Teyahna Bond (23), Cayla George (21 & 16), Alessandra Burke (17) and Penina Davidson (12 & 12).
Then it was the Marlins turn, and things didn't go quite to plan. Although the Marlins lead for most of the game by as much as 11 points with 21 lead changes, the Pirates were able to force overtime, and take a 3-point win in OT. Ben Ayre led the way with 32 points, backed up by James Mitchell (17) and Deba George (16).
